A Letter of Thanks
Dear Friends,
I don’t really know where to begin to thank you all for everything you have done since Philip’s illness and subsequent death. He was overwhelmed and deeply touched, as I was, by your continued and fervent prayers and by the many letters, cards and very kind gestures we received.
When Philip died, the family and I felt surrounded and upheld by much love and prayer. We have been touched by the letters, cards, food and meals received and by the many acts of kindness.
All of these meant so much to us and we are so grateful.
The service was wonderful and I know that was because many people worked so hard to make it happen. I couldn’t begin to thank individuals but can I especially thank everyone involved in the music, setting up the audio system in the halls, preparing the lovely food and the many, many jobs that were done in the background.
As a family we want to express our sincere thanks to everyone who helped to make Philip’s funeral so special.
