Dear friends,
A lot of our time and especially Chris’ time goes to writing, translating and preparing different teaching materials both for the different Bible study groups and for the equip days. But we gladly do it, for we can see how the gospel is transforming people and who they are growing in their love and knowledge of our Lord. For many years we as a couple have been praying and longing for a collaboration with other churches and a couple of months ago, we had our first ‘City to City Sweden’ gathering in Stockholm. This was a gathering where different church leaders and potential church planters, both locally and as well as from other parts of Sweden, met for collaboration and planning for future training.
Another preparation that is in the pipeline is the translation of the City-to-City church planting material, ‘Incubator’, that we plan to use in 2026. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done, and it’s not going as quickly as we wish, but by saying that, we know for sure that all is going according to God’s plan and timing.
We also want to take the opportunity to invite you to join the Crosslinks ‘Lift Up Your Eyes’ conference in Belfast, on 22 February. We will be there talking about our mission work in Sweden. We hope to see many of you there! And we are looking forward to seeing one of our partner churches that weekend too.
Praise points:
• Praise the Lord for 2024 and for all those leaders and volunteers who are involved in the different ministries in Emmaus Church.
• Praise God for the youths who are regularly coming to F.R.O.G., and for the young couple who are being trained in this ministry.
Prayer points:
• Pray also for us as we are preparing for the different teaching and training for 2025, for Bible study groups, youth ministry and City to City’s Incubator.
• Pray also for the joint Bible study training program with other churches that will be done in February and March.
• Pray too for the Crosslinks conference in Belfast on 22 February.
