In-person church services begin again at Knockbreda on Good Friday at 7.30pm.
We will be following the usual protocols and restrictions including social distancing so please email Bill if you are coming to church over the Easter weekend.
Easter 2021
Our services for Holy Week this year begin at 7.30pm each evening and will be on our YouTube channel. Our theme for Holy week will be ‘The Seven Words from the Cross.’
Palm Sunday (at 6.30pm) Online from Knockbreda. “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing”
Monday Online from St Jude’s. “Today you will be with me in paradise”
Tuesday Online from Knockbreda. “Here is your son … here is your mother.”
Wednesday Online from St. Jude’s. “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
Maundy Thursday Lord’s Supper at Knockbreda. Preacher: Rev Ben Walker. “I am thirsty” and “It is finished.”
Good Friday In-person at Knockbreda. “Into your hands I commend my Spirit.”
Easter Day at 9am (Holy Communion in the minor hall), 10.30am and 6.30pm.
Please let me know if you intend to be at church on Good Friday or on Easter Day at 10.30am.
There will be a children’s Easter club each morning online. Thank you to the team of volunteers who are arranging crafts, Bible stories, songs and prayers.
